Gellis, who is a NY native, attended university near Miami, and would spend all of his spare time in Little Havana to learn everything he could about cigars, how they’re rolled, and how tobacco is grown and cured. Then in 2009, Gellis teamed up with the famous El Titan de Bronze cigar factory for them to begin manufacturing his own top-rated tobacco blends. El Oso is crafted with an Ecuador Habano Oscuro wrapper over Dominican and Nicaraguan filler tobaccos stuffed in an Ecuadorian binder.
