CAO Fasa Sol
CAO has a sound portfolio and is known to have been behind some of the most popular blends in the cigar community since the years they have been active. Their master blending skills and dedication to true cigar craftmanship have led to an all-star lineup that includes a variety of 90+ rated blends. Once again they are flexing their penchant for innovation with their latest endeavor. CAO is launching two expressions of the same blend. Introducing the new FASA line, FASA Sol and FASA Noche cigars. The line shows the influence and importance a wrapper has on a cigar and offers two contrasting smoking profiles that are based on the same core tobacco recipe.“CAO FASA Sol and CAO FASA Noche could not be more alike, yet they could not be more different,” said Ed Lahmann, Senior Brand Manager for CAO, in a press release. “They’re literally like night and day, and still perfect for either occasion. This is what CAO is all about…taking our fans on a journey through the tobaccos we choose.”At their very core, the cigars start exactly the same, featuring a blend of Nicaraguan and Dominican long-fillers bound by a leaf of rustic and rare Cameroon tobacco. While the Sol is draped in a stunning Honduran San Augustin Olancho wrapper, the Noche uses a Connecticut Broadleaf as a wrapper. Sol’s wrapper adds a progressive strength and an array of tasting notes including baking spice and nuttiness whilst Noche’s flavor profile is a bit darker and intensely rich with the essence of dark fruit, cocoa, and a hint of pepper. No matter the blend, both are expertly constructed with each draw delivering a medium strength smoke lighting up the way through a smoking journey delightful in compelling flavors and offering a balanced yet a complex smoking experience at a more than appealing price.Created for the everyday cigar enthusiast, the budget conscience smokers, CAO FASA Sol and FASA Noche will be available as full-time additions to the CAO portfolio. Both blends are offered in the same two sizes, a Toro measuring 6x50 and a Gigante format measuring 6x60. They are housed in traditional wooden boxes of 24 with Sol’s cigars banded in orange and Noche’s in white. Your customers have the incredible chance to experience firsthand, and at an affordable price, this artful demonstration of the importance of the wrapper to the overall flavor of these cigars, tasting the difference for themselves.
